VCF Ruritan Club

The VCF Ruritan  Club was chartered in 1957, just after Ruritan was introduced to Delaware.  The club has it’s own clubhouse that is available for rent to the public. You may call Charlotte Millman at (302) 422- 4724 to rent the building.  They hold fundraisers to support their community service projects.  On the third Sunday of each month there is a buffet breakfast served.  It includes scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, two kinds of sausage, scrapple, chipped beef gravy, sausage gravy, pancakes, French toast, fruit, juice, coffee and tea.  Each year they serve three ham, chicken salad & dumpling dinners.   A few of the community projects are: supporting the Boy and Girl Scouts, Ronald MacDonald house, scholarships for graduating high school seniors, the local food pantry, Delaware Hospice and an ongoing recycling project.
